Worship Preparation-March 8, 2026

Hello Church Family!

This Sunday we gather to reflect on Romans 12:1-3
Below is a look at hymns we’ll be singing along with links to videos where you can hear the melody or learn more about the hymn.

Romans 12:1-3

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy,
to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice,
holy and pleasing to God-this is your true and proper worship.
Do not conform to the pattern of this world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-
his good, pleasing, and perfect will.

For by the grace given me I say to every one of you:
Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought,
but rather think of yourself with sober judment,
in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.

We Will Be Singing

O for a Heart to Praise My God

Author: Charles Wesley
Tune:AZMON Watch on YouTube

O for a heart to praise my God, A heart from sin set free, A heart that always feels Thy blood, So freely shed for me! A heart in every thought renewed, And full of love divine; Perfect and right and pure and good, A copy, Lord of Thine! Thy nature, gracious Lord, impart; Come quickly from above, Write Thy new name upon my heart, Thy new, best name of Love.

Take Time to Be Holy

Author: William D. Longstaff

Take time to be holy, Speak oft with thy Lord; Abide in Him always, And feed on His Word. Make friends of God's children; Help those who are weak; Forgetting in nothing His blessing to seek. Take time to be holy, The world rushes on; Much time spend in secret With Jesus alone; By looking to Jesus, Like Him thou shalt be; Thy friends in thy conduct His likeness shall see. Take time to be holy, Let him be thy Guide, And run not before Him, Whatever betide; In joy or in sorrow Still follow thy Lord, And, looking to Jesus, Still trust in His Word. Take time to be holy, Be calm in thy soul; Each thought and each motive Beneath His control; Thus led by His Spirit To fountains of love, Thou soon shalt be fitted For service above.

Leaning on the Everlasting Arms

Author: Elisha Hoffman

Verse 1 What a fellowship, what a joy divine, leaning on the everlasting arms; what a blessedness, what a peace is mine, leaning on the everlasting arms. Chorus Leaning, leaning, safe and secure from all alarms; leaning, leaning, leaning on the everlasting arms. Verse 2 O how sweet to walk in this pilgrim way, leaning on the everlasting arms; O how bright the path grows from day to day, leaning on the everlasting arms. Verse 3 What have I to dread, what have I to fear, leaning on the everlasting arms? I have blessed peace with my Lord so near, leaning on the everlasting arms.
